ShuttlePass is an app for badminton tournaments, leagues and player passports. This page explains what data we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account. Your email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
- Player passport. Your name, photo, gender, date of birth, city, club and playing level, and a phone number if an organiser adds one.
- Play data. Your entries, partners, teams, matches, scores and statistics, and auction bids in leagues.
- Technical data. Your IP address, which we use to limit abuse and keep the service secure, and a sign-in token stored in your browser.
An organiser can create a passport for you with your email address. When you sign in with that email, the passport becomes yours.
What is public
Your passport page (name, photo, club, level and statistics) and the draws, results and live scores of published tournaments and leagues can be seen by anyone. Your email address, date of birth and phone number are never shown publicly.
How we use your data
Only to run ShuttlePass: to sign you in, run tournaments and leagues, show scores and statistics, and keep the service safe. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use tracking cookies.
Who we share it with
- Organisers and helpers of the events you enter see the details they need to run the event.
- Serverpod Cloud hosts the app and its database on Google Cloud.
- Cloudflare serves this website and our domain names.
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
Your choices
You can edit your passport in the app at any time. To get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account, email hello@shuttlepass.in. We reply within 30 days. Results of events you played in may keep your name as part of the event record.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
